If we've done steps 1 & 2 well, step 3 will mainly consist of you having fun and us shooting video.

Our videographer will direct the activities & participants as much, or as little, as is needed to get the desired footage. We try very hard not to interrupt or get in the way of your fun, but sometimes we may need to pause the action to set up equipment, or ask people to try new ideas. Experience has taught us what works or not.

Of course, there is always an emphasis on safety. Participants need to stay well within their abilities, and remember we're videographers, not guides. Please leave the "Kodak Courage" at home.

Afterwards, there is another type of recreate, as we "re-Create" the day's fun into your vacation video. Using ideas we have discussed in advance, and integrating music tracks/genres you have pre-selected, we will edit the raw footage down to the best parts, and edit them together into a mini-movie that everyone will love.

Your video will be ready for viewing within days (sometimes even within the same day!) and posted to our private Family Portfolio Area for Smuggs Vacation Video families & their friends only. We then also ship your DVD and master tapes to your home address. In some cases, we may even be able to hand-deliver it to you!
